Ian has served the dance and performing arts sector as an administrator, manager and cultural leader. He worked for The Australian Ballet as an administrator and then as General Manager; he has been a Director of Bangarra Dance Theatre, Chair of the Theatre Board of the Australia Council and a member of the Tasmanian Arts Advisory Board.
